General Conditions of Hire
Our conditions of hire are listed on the back of each contract. If you are uncertain about any of the conditions please ask before hiring a Vehicle or Trailer.
Driver Qualifications:
All Drivers must hold a NZ or recognized overseas drivers license, which must be shown at commencement of hire.
Insurance:
For Drivers aged 25 and over, excess is $1000.00.
For Drivers 21 - 24, excess is $1500.00.
For Drivers under 21 and/or for inexperienced drivers, excess is $2000.
Excess can be reduced to $250.00 for drivers aged 25 and over by paying $20.00 per day per hire.
Fuel and Km's
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to check the fuel tank is full and the km's are the same as recorded on your contract before you leave.
Total Hire will not be accountable for any discrepancies on fuel and km's on return of the vehicle.
Payment
All hire charges must be pre-paid at the commencement of hire, with the addition of bond to be paid either by cash, business cheque or credit card.
$200 bond is required for all vehicles excluding trailers

To extend your hire just call and inform us of your requirements.
